Representantes del CIFP Mendizabala LHII han participado en el Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) del proyecto Erasmus+ Natural Paints for Sustainable Art and Crafts – Plant and Paint, celebrado en el Valkeakoski Vocational College (VAAO) en Finlandia el 4 y 5 de diciembre.
Durante dos jornadas intensas de trabajo, los socios europeos revisaron los avances del proyecto y coordinaron los próximos pasos.
La primera jornada se centró en la evaluación del progreso, la identificación de retos y la actualización del calendario de actividades. Tras una acogedora sesión ofrecida por el alumnado de Cosmética de VAAO, los participantes trabajaron en el desarrollo de la plataforma digital, que incluirá presentaciones 360º de los centros, un catálogo de plantas, fotografías de los jardines y resultados iniciales de las actividades de movilidad virtual. También se revisaron los materiales aportados por cada socio y los plazos para completar los contenidos de los paquetes de trabajo.
El día final incluyó una visita guiada al campus de VAAO y experimentos en el DigiLab, así como una sesión de planificación sobre las fases de testeo, difusión y uso educativo de la futura plataforma del proyecto.
Este encuentro fortalece la colaboración internacional y permite avanzar hacia el objetivo común: promover prácticas artísticas y artesanales sostenibles mediante el uso de pigmentos naturales.
Representatives of the “Plant & Paint” project take part in the transnational meeting in Finland
From December 4th to 5th, 2025, representatives from our school participated in the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) of the Erasmus+ project Natural Paints for Sustainable Art and Crafts – Plant and Paint, held at Valkeakoski Vocational College (VAAO) in Finland. Over two days of intensive work, the European partners reviewed the project’s progress and coordinated the next steps.
The first day focused on evaluating progress, identifying challenges, and updating the project schedule. After a warm welcome activity offered by VAAO’s Cosmetology students, participants worked on the development of the digital platform, which will include 360º presentations of the schools, a plant catalogue, garden photographs, and initial results from the virtual mobility tasks. Partners also reviewed the available materials and agreed on deadlines to complete the work package contents.
The second day included a guided tour of the VAAO campus and experiments in the DigiLab, followed by a planning session on the testing, dissemination, and educational use of the upcoming platform.
This meeting strengthens international collaboration and supports progress toward the common goal: promoting sustainable artistic and craft practices through the use of natural pigments.
